On December 17th, “Opening Ceremony of China Urban Influence Lab and Secretariat” and “China City Salon • Ninghe • Tianjin” were held in Beijing. Government leaders, enterprise representatives, and experts and scholars attended and discussed on how to explore more models of integrated development and further enhance the international influence of Chinese cities.

On behalf of relative organizations and the Secretariat, Ms. Guo Wei, Secretary General of China Urban Influence Lab and Deputy General Manager of Asiaray Media Group Limited, addressed a speech, introducing the background of the Lab and main resources of the initiators. In the presence of all the guests, the Secretariat of “China Urban Influence Lab” formally settled down in Beijing Branch of Asiaray Media Group Limited. As a leading out-of-home (“OOH”) media company, Asiaray possesses rich media resources and excellent OOH advertising capability. Moreover, it also advances with times and carries out cross-board cooperation. The landing of Secretariat in Asiaray also marks its integration into the large platform of China Urban Influence Lab. It is expected to give full play to the advantages of all parties and make contributions to the development of Chinese cities.

The leaders and representatives of the invited enterprises also made company introductions. From the perspectives of media industry, marketing planning organizations and big data enterprises, they put forward proposals for the future development of “China Urban Influence Lab”, and discussed on how to give full play to the advantages of all parties and carry out cross-industry integration and innovation in various fields, and boost the transformation and upgrading of Chinese cities in the new era. In the meeting, Urban and Rural Planning Institute of China Academy of Building Research signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Urban Influence Lab. Vice President Lv Huifen issued the letter of appointment of advisor to Secretary General of Tourism Industry Index Network, hoping to create more synergies and achieve win-win result through strong alliance.

After the ceremony, Hui Bing, member of the Standing Committee of Ninghe District and Executive Deputy District Chief, and other leaders attended China City Salon. They shared the urban construction and development in the new era, as well as the relationship and importance of urban influence, which was warmly received by the participants. The invited organizations discussed the future cooperation mechanism with the government from the perspective of enterprises.

About China Urban Influence Lab: Jointly initiated and founded by New Era China Urban Prosperity Index Survey and Evaluation Committee, Cultural Industry Institute of Renmin University of China, Tourism Industry Index Network, Asiaray Media Group Limited, Greater Bay Area Transportation and Economic Development Research Institute, Livable China Alliance, New Media and Big Data Alliance and other organizations, China Urban Influence Lab aims to build an urban evaluation index system in the era of new media and big data, establish a national think tank for urban marketing and communication, and provide strategic consulting and integrated communication solutions for the transformation and upgrading of Chinese cities in the new era.
